Activity Overview

• Activity: 2026 Wollongong City RSL ANZAC Day March
• Activity location: Meet the Scouting contingent on Crown Street Mall Wollongong, our column will begin to form at marker 26, usually near where Church Street intersects with the Mall. Form with your Group, with flag-bearers at the front 

Preparation

• Scouting members will be Marching with other community groups, & returned service people to honour the ANZAC spirit - FULL Uniform required

• Meet the Scouting contingent on Crown Street Mall Wollongong from 9:30am, our column will begin to form at marker 26, usually near where Church Street intersects with the Mall. Form with your Group, with flag-bearers at the front. We will be seeking a few youth members to lead the Scouts & also bear Region Flags.

• It has been quite sunny in recent years, so a hat (remember if a non-Scouting hat, it should be respectful), sun cream, & other sun-safe measures should be considered. It would also be a good idea for family & friends coming to collect you carry a water bottle for you to hydrate after the March is concluded.

Travel Arrangements

• Own Transport to/from the activity - Drop off within Crown Street Mall Wollongong (near Church Street intersection) from 9:30am (march begins at 10am). Pickup in McCabe Park, Church Street, Wollongong (behind Pioneer Hall), approx 11am.

• This activity will be conducted under direct or indirect adult supervision. Both male and female leaders will be present.
